Notice:
- Due to an
EU Directive we advise that water purifiers containing an
iodine biocide can no longer be supplied in EU territories
after 25th October 2009.
- This is
NOT due to any form of health or safety issue! It is
the indirect result of the chemicals industry, who process
and manufacture iodine, deciding it would not be economic to
support iodine through the costly new EU regulatory process.
- The iodine
resin we use in our range of iodine based water purification
products remains Approved by the United States E.P.A.
(Environmental Protection Agency) for drinking water
purposes.
- Please
note, the EU Directive DOES NOT AFFECT our other
extensive range of water treatment units and systems, i.e.
Chlorination units, R.O. (Reverse Osmosis) systems, Nano-filtration
units and water storage tanks and water distribution systems
– SO IT'S BUSINESS AS USUAL!
